Every time I say the words "double denim" my mother cringes. Thankfully her fears are unfounded; double denim is back! However there are some rules one needs to follow in order to pull the look off successfully. Please take note Brittney and JT.
Rule #1
Contrast colours. Never wear the same shade together. A chambray shirt with dark wash jeans is the kind of thing you want to go for.
Rule #2
Accessorise properly. Bright colours, striking shoes. Anything to break up the monotony of the outfit.
Rule #3
Love your double denim. Only wear it if you feel comfortable. If you spend all day worrying about how you look, then you're not going to look your best, no matter how rocking your outfit is. Confidence is the best accessory.
There you go! You're all set. That's pretty easy, not too hard to follow. Now go out, rock your best double denim and show my mother she's wrong.
